President Obama Is Solid In New Mexico

In 2008, President Obama won New Mexico by 15%. It was one of his most impressive victories of the year. President Obama looks set to win the state again, with approval that seems to match up with his 2008 numbers. This is real bad news for the GOP.

President Obama leads Mitt Romney by 16%, 53%-37%. He leads Mike Huckabee by 19%, up 55%-36%. He leads Newt Gingrich by 21%, 56%-35%. He leads Sarah Palin by an amazing 62%-33%. None of the GOP front-runners gets out of 35% range, and none hold him below 53%.
