Reactions To The President's Speech

Reactions to the speech:

• CBS polling shows 81% approval for the President's plan for the economy, and 92% approved of the plans he put forth in the speech. This is amongst viewers, which is an audience that kind of skews Democratic, because he's a Democrat. Still, high marks.
• CNN Polling shows 52% had a very positive reaction to the speech, 32% had a somewhat positive reaction, and 15% had a negative reaction. Last year, 48% had a very positive reaction. 39% of their pool were Democratic, 19% were Republican, and the rest independent.
• PostPartisan was stirred, but unmoved. The opinion here is that the speech didn't go far enough.
• The Fix offered several opinions on the speech.
