Well, it's January 31st, and yes, you guessed it- the race for the House in 2012 is on. Lots is happening.- Speaker John Boehner is kicking off his efforts, launching his 2012 political operation, a combination of his PAC and his re-election structure. He brought on the Ohio GOP's Executive Director to lead this effort.
- The DCCC is on the air in 19 districts to attack Republicans in seats that President Obama won. It appears that they are going to attack Republican budget-cutting plans.
- House Democrats plan to use "Motions to Recommit" regularly this Congress to force tough votes on Republicans. Congressman Steve Israel calls this "going on offense."
